Le Printemps...

Spring is in the air...NOT!

While i am a "New England" gal through and through...one does tire of the relentless snowfall and the snowbanks so high you can't see around the next corner! So, it is always inevitable that i "force" spring indoors and in my studio.
Without actually meaning to...
i naturally "migrate" towards creative projects that remind me of "Le Printemps".

Sweet oiseaux.....

...feathering their nests.....

 ...laying their eggs....

...and leaving the confines of their winter cages....

 ...free to FLY!

no spring skips its turn."

  7. You are hilarious! Be careful what you say, expressing my desire for warmer year round weather landed me in Arizona, far from my family and friends....ugh!

But I love that you keep busy while you are all snowed in and warm.

We may live in two different climates but we share the love of beauty. Your creations are so beautiful. Close your eyes and pretend you smell spring.

  15. Hello Michelle. I was visiting one of my favorite blogs, and one of her favorite blogs...and came to an absolute stop here! Oh my, your blog is Beautiful! I love country French, vintage, spring (who doesn't right now?).

All of your creations are simply beautiful! I've only recently seen stamping on fabric but nothing this lovely. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

Now I have to go out and buy some pinking shears!

I know this is a really LONG comment, but I'm simply mezmerized by your blog. I've become a follower and hope to visit you often.

    Thanks so much!

  16. Hi Petite Michelle Louise. I'm back to thank you for visiting me too. The stamp of the flowered dress and pretty much all of the elaborate images are by Sandra Evertson. I found them at a site called Stampington.

Right now I'm really busy, but if you get back to me with a reminder, maybe next Tuesday, I'd be happy to send you some stamped images of her stamps. I've been in the "One World" blog hop and revamping my craft room, so it's a really busy time. I love it!

  17. Love 'printemps' too (summer is too hot!). Very cute your 'petits oiseaux', last spring we had THREE nests at home, and the whole three gave us several little 'oiseaux'. It was a fantastic experience !
    Wish you a great weekend.
