Provence Lavender Pincushions

Sharing some of my "Cape Ann" seaside statue pictures printed onto fabric....

...to make French lavender sachet- pincushions....

"According to folk wisdom, lavender has many uses. Infusions of lavender soothes, heal insect bites and burns. If applied to the temples, lavender oil soothes headaches. In pillows, lavender seeds and flowers aid sleep and relaxation. An infusion of three flowerheads added to a cup of boiling water soothes and relaxes at bedtime."

"Lavender is a natural anti-depresant and relaxant."

"It is known to relieve headaches, stress and insomina."

...adding petite handmade tags....

...and vintage buttons...

...to smell the sweet aroma of lavender every time i use one...
