Keeping Busy With More Artful Kits....

The tragic events of yesterday have my heart feeling ever so heavy today. I know that I am not alone in this sentiment. Whether you live in the Boston area like myself, or miles, states or even countries away....we are all together in feeling the "aftershocks" of such a senseless act of violence. In moments like these I pray...I hope.... and, truthfully, I feel helpless. Nothing soothes the heaviness we all feel but being creative takes my mind off of such sadness, if only for a moment. So I got busy photographing my new artful kits and assembled a few more (that, after walking the pond, cleaning out the garage, packing and carrying my winter clothes into the attic, and putting 4 barrels of recycle "curbside").

So here are my newest Bookcovers Bits & Bobs....

  2. I would LOVE to own Anne's House of Dreams if that is still available. These are all so beautiful, Michelle. I don't know how you can part with them!
Prayers and thoughts go out to you and all of Boston. This has to be especially hard for you to have this happen in your beautiful city.

    2. Okay, Michelle, I have no alternative but to confess my ignorance. I cannot figure out how to pay for my purchase (or actually find it.) I checked my email to see if I had a message from paypal to no avail. I logged into paypal's website and nothing. I went to your etsy shop and found nothing. So paint my face red but I can't figure out how to do this!!
      Your technically challenged friend,

  3. Hello Michelle,
Your kits are wonderful, full of beautiful items to make beautiful art! I was just telling Z of old grey mare that I needed to destash, realization has hit that I just don't have the time to do everything and I don't know when I will get to all of the assemblage items that I have hoarded ehem collected :). I am doing a nice flea market/antique/craft show in June and I thought I would put together 'collections' to sell there... so much to do, and never enough time in the day!
My heart goes out to all those involved in the bombing. It seems almost surreal, so prayers are being said over here too.
We have sunshine today, I hope that you do to...
    love, t.xoxoxo

  5. I agree with you, keeping creative during sad times allows you to move forward. I am not sure how anyone can process this tragedy. Praying for all of Boston and this entire world.

Please set up a listing of the Mother Mary Pray for us, if it is still available, how gorgeous.

  10. Hi Michelle,
I agree with you about feeling so sad over the Boston tragedy. I still haven't gotten my strength back over New Town. It's hard to stay focused as a creative person in this environment.
