I wish you all a new year filled with love....health.....happiness and prosperity. 

I wish you a new year that finds your dreams fulfilled...

I wish you a new year surrounded by loved ones....

I wish you a new year that brings you more joy than sorrow...

But...most of all...I wish you a new year of blessings.

And in this New Year......my “one word” will be.....

"LISTEN"

In 2014....I will “listen” to that still, small voice inside of me...that voice that knows my heart better than anyone or anything.

"I hear your voice in all the world's noise."

I will let it guide me in all my choices.....all my decisions.

And I will have faith that it will open my heart and mind to new ideas....new friendships...new adventures.

My life is richer for knowing all of you....for your love, support and friendships.

I wish so many wonderful things for you in this bright & hopeful New Year!

The Winter Issue of Somerset Life just arrived in my mailbox and I am truly touched. Three petite artful kits I assembled are in the "Art of Juxtaposition" feature. These kits hold a very special place in my heart as I assembled them shortly after my dear mother-in-law passed away. The kits were inspired by the vintage buttons in each of them which once belonged to her, her mother and her grandmother. I will always cherish the time we spent sorting through her button boxes and the stories they evoked.

I am especially happy that this issue is being released now... just before Christmas.... as I plan on gifting each of my two sisters-in-law with a copy of it along with one of these button box assemblages.

Also in this issue.....

Monica Sabolla Gruppo shares beauty, joy and words of healing in her“Blogs With A View” feature. Monica, and her art work, always convey messages of hope, love and goodness that inspire us all to see the world in a beautiful light... 

Then there's Becky Shander...her creations exude her "signature" style of simplicity, serenity and heartfelt sentiments. I just adore this petite canvas....

.....and Abby Bastedo’s sweet handmade tag shows us the beauty that can be found in simplicity.

Xmas Movies To Put You In The "Romantic Spirit" Of The Holiday...

While the West Coast is experiencing some unprecedented snowfall , we here on the East Coast are experiencing some downright “balmy” temps and rain.....(doesn't quite put one in the "Christmas Spirit.”)

So...I’m planning on lighting my window candles.... pouring a glass of my favorite wine....snuggling under my favorite "grey dey" throw and popping in one of these...

...hope they help to put you in the “Christmas Spirit” as well.
