While the West Coast is experiencing some unprecedented snowfall , we here on the East Coast are experiencing some downright “balmy” temps and rain.....(doesn't quite put one in the "Christmas Spirit.”)
So...I’m planning on lighting my window candles.... pouring a glass of my favorite wine....snuggling under my favorite "grey dey" throw and popping in one of these...
...hope they help to put you in the “Christmas Spirit” as well.
I watch "love actually" every year...love it :) I might do the same over the weekend, after I finish decorating my house:)
ReplyDeletehi michelle, i love "the holiday" and have studied both of the homes that are featured in it....i especially love the adorable english cottage! one of my favorite go to movies is "spanglish" with adam sandler and of course "somethings got to give"! the weather here in tennessee is all a flutter....75 degrees 2 days ago and tonight we will have ice! it is hard to know how to dress. lol

When my Jetta said 34 degrees this morning I knew we were in for a cold weekend. No complaints here, this cold lets me dress in winter clothes and that is a rare thing. I adore your film selection. Enjoy that throw.
ReplyDeleteYour plan involving being warm, having a glass of wine and watching these movies sounds ideal.
ReplyDeleteOh, The Holiday...one of my all time faves! And yes, my friend, we are cold over here! It hasn't gotten above freezing for days now at my house. Did I mention I'm a "Sunny and 75" kinda girl?
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
xoxo

These three movies are on our favorite holiday list too...The Holiday is my fav!!! But Family Stone is second. We are watching The Griswald Family Christmas tonight and YES we are possibly getting snow tonight...unheard of here! We are excited.
ReplyDeletenow HOW could I forget "Family Stone?" I've added it to this Post. "Merci" Kerrie!
DeleteI love The Holiday and While You were Sleeping, but haven't seen Love Actually. I will be looking to see if I can find that one too. I love watching romantic comedies... just makes you feel good. Hoping you enjoy the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteI love The Holiday and Love Actually which I did watch a couple of days ago. I haven't seen While you were sleeping so I'm excited to watch that. The new movie just out About Time I think you would like.
ReplyDeleteI think we all love The Holiday so much because of that adorable cottage Cameron Diaz stays in! Another good one that I just saw for the first time last year is Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn...very cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when you have seen them all at least 6 times....Fabulous movies all of them in different ways....I will probably watch them again. I would add When Harry Met Sally to your list. xox
ReplyDeleteSnuggling and and watching a romantic movie sounds perfect right now!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with your choices with "The Holiday" probably being on the top of my list!
ReplyDeleteJane

Noel? It has Penelope Cruz and Paul Walker, now that Paul Walker has passed in that teriable auto accident not sure I want to watch it this year, But, Boy if you have never seen this movie you must, its a love story, and a message about life. sooooo! Michelle if you want to see a great inspiring message Christmas Movie go buy ...
ReplyDeleteNoel, you can find it in all the sale piles, namely Walmarts bin, or Target.

Joyeux Noel.
