Junking Along The Coast of Maine

I had the most marvelous time coming home from my visit with Mum in Maine this past week....when i am in no particular hurry to get home, i like to take Rte. 1 all the way and follow the coast of Maine, NH and Massachusetts. There are literally dozens of thrift shops along the way...not to mention the spectacular views of the ocean! Here are a few treasures I secured for very little money! Don't you love "Junking??"

White Wednesday

I'm posting very early this week as I am heading to Maine tomorrow to spend some time with "Mum." Hubby is on a business trip and my one and only is back at school so it's a good time to head to the Great White North. Before i go though...here are a few pictures of some of my favorite things...buttons! I love them in all shades of cream ... vintage mother of pearl being my favorite! First White Wednesday of 2010

The first White Wednesday of 2010 and I had hoped to really "wow" you all but I am still way behind according to the calendar. Christmas decorations are still everywhere so i decided to share some of the many angels i have around the house. Most of them stay out year round as I love them so!
