It's Time

It's time to get back to doing what I love....what makes my heart light...what gives my spirit wings.....

I've re-opened my ETSY shop. 

Our family was hit pretty hard from a few different directions and I needed to spend the last few weeks being where I needed to "be."

I am happy to say that a few of our heart aches are behind us now but, sadly, not all of them. I still need your prayers for my dear mother-in-law who is quite ill and fighting to live each day.

I have so very much appreciated all of your thoughts, prayers and personal words of comfort. You can't know what they've meant to our family. I am blessed to know all of you and feel the warmth, love and support that being part of this kinship has bestowed upon me. 

You all help to give my spirit "wings." 

Father's Day

I dedicate this post to "my dad" whose anniversary is this coming August. Even though i feel his spirit and "see" him in so many ways, places and faces.....not a day goes by that I don't miss his "physical presence" in my life. He was the calm at the center of the storm for me. A priest once said that the nicest words one could use to describe a person are: "He is kind." My father was kind. He was kind-hearted. He had a kind smile. He always had kind words for those who needed to hear them. He had a kind soul. He was  a man of few words but when he spoke them...they were abundant in meaning. Small in stature...he was larger than life in my eyes. He was my idol, my hero, my mentor, my friend.

Happy Father's Day Dad.
