Valentine's Day is just around the corner so today, I'd like to share how you can use plain brown Kraft Paper Boxes to wrap your Valentine's "tokens" with a little bit of LOVE.
You can find these boxes at most craft supply stores as well as on ETSY and Ebay if you want to buy them in larger quantities for less.
The inspiration for these sweet boxes were these metal arrows that I found in the dollar bins at Michael's. They come in packages of four. I used the cardboard "cozies" that come with the hot "To Go" cups from my grocery store to wrap a few of the boxes.
I used more of the cozies to cut some heart shapes as well. The white hearts are actually paper leaves that you can find in the wedding section of your local craft store. I simply folded them in half and cut a "semi circle" at the top so that, when opened, forms a heart.
I embellished the boxes using vintage music pages, paper doilies, buttons, ribbon and beads, all of which I had on hand. A glue gun is all you'll need.
For the "finishing touch", I used my trusty Gelly Roll Pen and "doodled" away! These are fun and inexpensive to make so I hope you'll give them a try.
Happy "doodling!"
Avec Amour,
Michelle
