St.Valentine's Day will soon be here and in preparation for this sweetest day....I thought I'd make some simple stickers to add to my Valentine cards.
First....I chose an image, from my personal collection, that I just adore...
... I printed 16 onto a full size Avery Peel n' Stick sheet....
....I used a 1 1/2" scalloped paper punch to punch around the image of the dancing couple....
....dug out my stash of vintage glassine envelopes....
...and voila....
....sweet....simple....
...feel free to RIGHT click on my original image to make these stickers for your PERSONAL use only.
Enjoy....
Very pretty, Michelle! I love the image!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, these are so sweet. I will probably be "borrowing" this idea;0)
ReplyDeleteenJOY a lovely today,
Kimberly
Michèle, à favorite art piece of mine as well. I had this print on tapestry back in the 80's 90's when the Victorian look was so the design trend.
ReplyDeleteYet your take on taking and adding it to a love note is better yet. How I would adore receiving a letter from you with a piece of art sticking the envelope in place.
You are going to be the hit of Valentine giving.
Thank you sweet dear friend for sharing a bit of you over at my place, joying my heart with a left comment from you on my feature in Artful Blogging magazine, thank you so dearly.
Fondly,
Xoxo

I just love the Avery products. Avery is what I use for all my Seawashed Stationary. There is so much available to create your own notecards, tags, stickers, labels...I love it. I have collected stationary all my life because I love letter writing. I had hoped to create more of a stationary line for my shop but there is so much out there available online...people with far better equipment than I can afford...so I will keep on with my original paintings for now. I just love stationary!!! and your stickers are just what I love. xxo

ReplyDeleteI recall the days taking my Godey fashion plates out of the frames to Staples so they could make copies and then using glue sticks!! Such a clever idea, and I love the part of taking something hanging on your walls and making such a cute idea out of it..well done :)
