It was a “chicken soup” kind of day for me today. Ever have them? You don't have the sniffles and the sun is shining but you’re still feeling a bit “down?”
You need the kind of comfort that only a bowl of hot chicken soup can give you.

Well, it never disappoints...
look what warmed me up besides all that chicken noodle goodness...
...put a small smile on my face when I really needed one.
Oh... and...when the "boy" who bagged your groceries calls you "Miss" and not "Ma'am"...
well, your day just got a whole lot better!

Oh yes, I have those days and you know I am all about comfort food. I hope you were wrapped in your grey throw. Maybe a great novel can wisk you away. Xo
ReplyDeleteAhh I love that...a tiny heart in your homemade soup! I made chicken tortilla soup(without spices)...my favorite. I serve it with crushed tortilla chips and grated cheddar. It is soooo yummy.
ReplyDeleteI too love a bowl of homemade soup when I don't feel so well but a yummy pizza can cheer me up also :). Hopefully you feel better in the meanwhile and can enjoy the rest of the week.

Nothing like homemade soup on a not so good day, and the hearts and boy who bagged the groceries would make it ten times better. Smile and have an amazing week. Oh and happy Halloween Hugs, Bobbi,
