Hello Mes Amies.
Just to clarify a few things....
I have not been kidnapped nor have I moved to Alaska. I have not been stranded on a deserted island nor have I been spending time in an exotic paradise.
Simply put....I. Have. Been. Busy.
"Life" and obligations have called me away from my beloved studio, blog and all of you and, for that, I am sorry. I have truly missed visiting with you and having you visit me here as well.
So now...my door is wide open...come on in!
I'd like to share the latest project from in my studio....
~Vintage Cutlery Key Rings~
...I've been wanting to create with vintage cutlery for quite some time now.
I've always been drawn to their delicate detailing....
...and beautiful patterns.
So lovely.
This one is called :"Eternally Yours."
I love how it is inscribed on each piece....such a delightful detail, especially now, the season of "amour."
I've added French wire-wrapped pearls to them...
...and some crinkled seam binding.
...each one so unique....
...and feminine.
My personal collection of vintage religious medals...
...hang alongside them....
...such a blessing to be able to create with one's heart and hands.
My Vintage Cutlery Key Rings will soon be up for sale in my ETSY shop.
Now I am off to visit with all of you!

Welcome back Michelle! I hope your historical society event went well. It must feel nice to have more free time again. You've certainly used your time well - such exquisite key rings! What a great way to use beautiful vintage cutlery. Your ingenuity always amazes. :)

Welcome back, sweet, petite one!! I hope that life continues now at a more normal pace for you.
ReplyDeleteYour cutlery creations are gorgeous, Michelle! What delicate, lovely designs.♥ I love them all, but I think that my favorite is the one underneath your text "... and feminine." I love how they look hanging together, mingling with your beautiful medals and crosses; the flowing white seam binding beautifully showcasing the silver pieces. And I adore the simplicity of the single white pearl embellishing each one of them... perfect!
xoxo
Ahhhhh, they are wooonderful! What a great idea!

Hi my dear Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI have been away for long, too because of a nasty flue-so happy to be back to see your beautiful cutlery pieces.
They are all unique and lovely with the pearls, and each their own way of looking.
And such a beautiful collection of medals and crosses- gorgeous.
I also love the statue you was gifted, she is a beauty ,too.
Hugs and love, Dorthe
They are lovely indeed. The pearl adds an extra special touch. Your medal collection is exquisite.
