I went to my favorite church thrift store recently and spotted this beauty in a corner.....
...she was a little worse for the wear, as she's made of chalk, but still serenely beautiful...
...it was love at first sight so I asked how much she was...
....the woman asked me if Ste. Therese had "special meaning" to me....
...so I told her how my father had a special fondness for "La Petite Fleur"....
...and since his passing, I had grown very fond of her as well....
.....she then said: "We've been hoping to find a special home for her. I think she belongs with you. You may have her."
Oh Blessed be!!
Happy Blissful Whites Wednesday mes amies!

michelle, how blessed you are.......shes in the right place.
ReplyDeleteOh that is so wonderful and St. Therese is beautiful! I love the holy statues. My mother left a Virgin Mary chalk statue that was cracked and broken so many times. When I inherited it, I filled in the big chunks that were missing with spackle and filled the cracks and smoothed them and then repainted. She sits on my dresser now and I love her! Your religious items are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo beautifull.
ReplyDeleteI love her sereen. And it came at the perfect place.
Love, Annette
