In just two more days, I'm boarding a plane and flying here.....
I'll be traveling with my sweet maman, two sisters and two nieces to visit one of my other nieces who is there studying abroad.
I have a long list of sites on my "itinerary wish list" and hope to bring back some special tresors from the British brocantes I'm longing to spend time in.
It has not escaped my attention that, while I'm away, my blog will be celebrating a blogerversary so stay tuned for a special giveaway upon my return.

In the meantime, I wish all of my American friends a very Happy Thanksgiving!
(and many blessings to all my international friends as well)
Have a great time! Can't wait to see all the pictures and treasures that you come home with!
ReplyDeleteYou've shared pics here of the places my daughter & I visited. She also went dancing in Piccadilly Circus, and we went to Madame Tussard's, the National Gallery, lunch & shopping at Harrod's, a trip to Stonehenge & Bath, shopping at the antique shops... so many places, so little time!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time, sweet Michelle!!!

ReplyDeleteOh Michelle, I am so excited for you! Everyone in England is so nice and the shopping is amazing! I now know why it is called 'merry ol' England' :~) You must do high tea at Harrod's! It is a quite special experience. And ride the London Eye if you want to see all of London at once. Have fun, be safe and happy travels! Can't wait to see all of your pics when you get back.

ReplyDeleteYou'll just love this time of year in London - dressed for Christmas the decorations are amazing.
A few years ago I shopped in Harrods for Christmas crackers to take to France for Christmas - they were the most beautiful crackers and we still talk about them!!
Enjoy your time there - I'm envious!
Safe travels and bonne voyage!

Hi!! I didn't catch this until Thanksgiving evening, but in hoping that you are checking messages I hope you have a WONDERFUL time. In reality, there are lots more interesting things to do in London than checking your email!! Hubby and I lived on the European continent for many years and can't count the times we went to England. It is a really wonderful place to visit. People say the food is lousy, but I wouldn't say that at all! There are great sites to see, so much history, great food, excellent teas to be had, and all in the English tradition! I wish you the best and a safe trip back home! Cecile
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I'm sorry that I was out of town when you left for England and couldn't wish you a "bon voyage". I hope that you are in fact having a glorious time taking in the sights, shopping, and spending time with your family.♥ Have a safe trip home! xoxo
