Adventures of The Picker Sisters: Part 4

This past Saturday, I met up with my "Picker Sister" ...
and made a return trip to the White Elephant Shops in beautiful Essex, Ma. The weather was cold and rainy but it didn't dampen our Picker Sister spirits!

First stop was their Outlet Store where everything is half off and a bonus room where everything is 75% off!

Here's my haul from the day...

...this sweet, sweet picture of twins....

...an old Ironstone soap dish and butter pats...

....see the gorgeous crystal and mercury glass doorknob?

I love this hammered metal necklace. I will be "deconstructing" it to use in some of my creations.

I've been on the hunt for some mismatched silver-plated "lids" (I'll show you why in a future post) and found 2 of them along with some beautiful rhinestone trim and another doorknob.

These lovely livres were a dollar each! I almost swooned when I found the Jane Austen Pride & Prejudice book amongst the pile! It's dated 1905!

And, last but not least, this old gal.....

...she was OUTSIDE, under a table, and in the rain! Susan spied her first and dragged her out of her hiding place. It didn't take much convincing from her that she needed to come home with ME.

The 16th is the day of my birthday (which happens to be next week) and my lucky number.... so I took it as a sign that she belonged with me. She needs a little TLC of which she will get loads of here at Maison Petite Michelle Louise! The original price tag read 100.00 but since it was in their outlet store.... it was marked down to 50.00. When the owner heard us hemming and hawing about whether or not to buy her, he offered to sell her for 45.00, including tax! Ummmmm..oui..oui!

And here we are after a day of treasure hunting and laughs!!
Merci Susan....can't wait for The Adventures of The Picker Sisters #5!!

I'm linking up to Kathleen's Faded Charm Cottage for White Wednesday!

They are hard to find and they are either display only or $100 or more. Hope I can find a bargain like you some day. Looks like you gals had a great day. What's more fun than pickin with a friend?
