Sharing some photos of bracelets I am making for a wedding. My sister's friend commissioned them for
her future daughter-in-law, the bride's mother and herself. These are so very special in that she gave me buttons and beads from her own wedding dress, the wedding dress worn by the bride's mother as well as buttons belonging to the bride AND groom's grandmothers! I thought this made for a very special and sentimental gift for her future daughter-in-law! She also asked that i somehow represent the bride and groom's heritages....French, Irish and Jewish so i added the sterling charms: Fleur-de-lis, clovers and Star of David's. They are not quite finished but I though they'd make a nice WW post!
Happy St. Patrick's Day...Happy "Almost Spring"... and Happy White Wednesday! Don't forget to go on over to Faded Charma to be inspired by all of the other white wonderfuls!

Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful remembrance for a wedding. And to think they gave you buttons from Grandmothers vintage dresses. Your touch is just perfect for a gift like this. As for the other pretties I see.....I hope they are for a swap of the 'birdie' kind!! I'm working on mine this weekend. Lisa
